GOGO Camping is a paradise for astronomers as it’s home to the Asia’s largest telescope established in the early 1970’s – Vainu Bappu Observatory. For the more casual campers, the few places worth mentioning are Beema Falls, Komutteri Lake, Kullar Kugai, Amirthi Forest, the Glass House, Chola period medicinal forest and, Beemakulam for kayaking and fishing.
